South Carolina Treasure and Artifact Association - Minutes

The SCTAA met on February 28, 2011 with 21 in attendance. Officer elections were held.

President - Randy Reece, Vice-president - Maggie Moffat, Secretary/Treasurer - Rebecca Reece,

Board Members - Robert Weaver and Carter Mahaffee.

The program presented by Robert Weaver covered metal detecting tips along with words of encouragement.Robert also presented ideas for a spring hunt at the farm on Hwy. 290.The hunt will be a Saturday early in April; with one hunt for a fee of $20 to be paid by the March meeting.

Also Robert is working on a hunt at the historic Cross Keys House in Union County. All finds will we turned in to the Historic Society.Our next meeting will be March 28, 2011.

January treasury ended with $207.62.We collected: Money Donations - $67.00, Membership Dues (2011) - $25.The amended closing balance is $299.62.In a separate category we are holding $40.00 in fees for the Spring Hunt.
